  When I watched this video I couldn't help but think about the times I have had pointless conversations with people close to me. I would be mortified if some of those conversations ended up on the internet.

  Yes, the girl burped and she probably farts too. I say to any woman who laughs at Britney's belching, "If one of you is without gas, cast the first stone." You know you all do it. I say to those who mock Britney's whining, "If you have never whined, throw your rocks."

  The weirdest thing about this video is that Britney and her husband recorded it in the first place. Who records a conversation like this? The weirdest thing about this thread is that I am essentially defending Britney Spears.

  we had a whole family that moved into our congo when i was about 10. they had kids from 6 to 16-years-old.

  there was always talk of their beds spinning and shoes floating, et cetera.

  they lived in a literal shack so i didn't want to go there to spend the night, but i always wanted to go and "check it out" to see some fireworks.

  A bit off topic, but I knew an elderly sister in a congregation that was conviced her house had become haunted as her furniture and other things in the house kept switching around. It scared her silly. Turns out that her son-in-law (an elder) and grandson thought it was funny to come into her house when she was gone and move stuff - move a chair from one wall to another, change where lamps were sitting, rearrange the fridge, etc. What a couple of assholes...

  people were clever enough to see that the majority of Catholics had nothing to do with the IRA bombings

  This is true. On the other hand if the Pope, or other prominent Catholic leaders, had called for an international war based on Catholic ideology, clever people would have reached a different conclusion. Were these apparently British citizens acting as British citizens or were they inspired by prominent Islamic leaders in foreign counties?

  I read today that 2 Muslims from Dearborn, MI (Dearborn has a rather large Muslim community) had been arrested in Ohio on terrorist charges:

  If (and I hope this never, ever happens) a Michigan born and raised Muslim carried out a terrorist attack on American soil, Dearborn would probably be in flames before the day ended. I suspect that Dearborn and the surrounding area (including Detroit) will be on edge as news of the arrests in Ohio, combined with the events from Britain, makes the rounds. People will be wondering what exactly goes on in the mosques.

If American born and raised Muslims carried out terror attacks here I think the backlash against the Muslim community would be severe.

  so, i went to my friendly neighborhood tattoo parlor today, and recieved my second and third (or 19th and 20th - depending on how you look at it) tattoo.

  the chest is an extremely sensitive area, and so i was very aware that i was alive for the majority of the time.. oh, birds are often seen as a symbol of freedom, happiness, and arriving safely.

  how many of you have armed themselves?

  i recently bought a high powered rifle and am presently buying a pistol for back-up.

  i have a cross bow, a compound bow, and several swords and knives, in fact i have been collecting knives for some time and have learned how to use them in defending myself and in taking the initiative in learning to defend myself.

  i am quite versed in using both the croww bow and the compound bow, it seems the goverment doesn't want to defend us and just wants to unarm us.

  Donald O'Brien walked to a liqour store to buy a twelve pack as he had done countless times during the 20+ years he lived in his quiet, safe neighborhood. On his way home he was robbed by two young men for his twelve pack and money. The robbers then proceeded to beat him. He died the next day in the hospital. In reality he died 40 feet from his house as he never regained conciousness. The robbers said they used the 12 pack during the beating. When asked why they did it, one of the robbers said, "Because it was fun." Happened a few weeks ago in my town.

  ok, i"ve been injecting this stuff for a few days, (4) and my fasting b. sugar has come down to about 186 from 389.... that's a start.

  i still haven't been to the gym, i still feel crappy.

  i have altered my diet and know that something good is happening to my body.

  I found out I had type 2 at my last physical. The doc put me on glyburide and metformin. I was telling an uncle about my diagnosis and he started yelling at me, "You go get a god damned pedometer and work yourself up to 10,000 steps!" So I did. It took a few weeks to get there but I do 10,000 steps most days. I dusted off my weights also and started lifting 3x per week starting very light and adding just a bit every couple of weeks. My numbers dropped from the high 200's in December to normal after about 2 months. Nutrition (I hate the word diet) is now a big factor in my life although I do slip on occasion. Good luck with the byetta. I had not heard about it until I read your thread. Thanks for the info and let me know how its working for you.

  One of the funniest photos I've seen on an xjw board was a picture of Santa Clause looking at a Christmas issue of the watchtower. The cover was athentic watchtower (picture of Santa with some inane title like "Santa Sucks" or "Christmas is Satanic"). The look on Santa's face was priceless. A combination of shock and disgust. I wish I could find it to share but no luck. Maybe someone has it.

  National Healthcare for the USA

  just an fyi for anyone interested - there is a major drive on to push the bill forward for national healthcare in the usa.

  you can sign the petition by going to http://www.onecarenow.org/.. it has gone through one part of the process last year and now the push is on to get it moved to the next level - it is backed by over 400 groups including the uaw i believe.

  it is no longer if it happens, it is only a matter of time as to when it happens.

  Yes, it is true that I could lose my present health care benefits if I got fired or laid off. There is risk in all aspects of life. The emphasis here is on the word COULD. However, if national health care came to be I WOULD lose the level of care that I currently have. I know this because no government can provide every citizen with the level of health care I currently enjoy. It would bankrupt the nation. Given that my personal level of care would be lower under a national system, I would hope that I would have to pay less for the less comprehensive benefit.
